Renard cheer Junior Chipolopolo

Former Zambia coach Herve Renard was at Heroes Stadium on Wednesday night tonight cheering on the Zambia Under-20.

In a quick chat with the ZamFoot Crew Renard said, “My heart is Zambia, Let’s go Zambia, Let’s go Zambia.”

Renard led Zambia to the it’s first major continental title in 2012.

He is currently with Morocco but has been linked with a vacant Bafana Bafana job.

Zambia beat South Africa in extra time, after Edward ‘Tiger’ Chilufya settled matters with a flicking header from Prosper Chilufya curling shot from a free-kick to send the crowd at the packed stadium onto the cloud nine.

Zambia will now face either Guinea or Senegal in the final

  3. Its good to see Renard here but we no longer need him. We shall start using our own. Sending them to Germany and Brazil for training. So we are sure wherever they go they are still children of the soil.
Thanks Renard, though I know you came here to impress the South Africans that you are already monitoring their future Bafana Bafana. Remember Bafana’s people are not as tolerant as Zambian’s, they demand immediate results or they will ask for your blood Talk to that Brazilian Parreira or something.

  4. Kasama Boy. ….you are fool. …A big fool. …This man gave us our only trophy with a mediocre team. Don’t undermine what Renard achieved…He has done more for Zambia football than u r useless Kalusha Bwalya

    • Soccerguru I think the bigger fool is you!!! Its Kalu that had seen something special in this man so how do you even rate them in the same class. The two worked hard together to ensure Zambia triumphed in 2012.

This was to finalise a deal betwween SAFA and either H.Renard or Hugo Broos the Cameroon Coach who recently won the 2017 Afcon.

They are just a handful and they are equivalent of a certain group on Lusaka Times! Zambia really appreciates you! We had been a great football nation for years but that cup had always been eluding us until you came. You did it in style and you will always be a great coach in our eyes and in our hearts! God bless you!
