The Zambia U-17 Men’s and Women’s national teams’ opponents for next month’s Region 5 Youth Games have been revealed following a draw conducted today.
The revised draws followed a late request from both Zimbabwe and Namibia to be entered into this year’s competition having missed the deadline.
The Copper Princesses have been drawn in Group A alongside Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Comoros at the Region 5 Youth Games Maseru 2020 Under-17 Girls’ Championship.
Group B has fellow favorites in South Africa, Mauritius, and Namibia.
In the boys’ category, the Young Chipolopolo Boys have been placed in Group C with Malawi and Seychelles.
Hosts Lesotho will battle Eswatini, Zimbabwe, and Madagascar in Group A while South Africa has Angola, Botswana, and Mauritius in Group B.
The tournament will be played in Maseru, Lesotho from December 1-10.
