Red Arrows midfielder Tanaka Chinyahara has been called up to the Zimbabwe senior national team for their international friendly match against Malawi in Blantyre.
Tanaka was out with the Airmen who are doing their pre-season tour of Copperbelt when he received an invitation to join The Warriors of Zimbabwe.
The midfielder told the ZamFoot Crew before departure for Zimbabwe that he was honored to receive the call-up and a chance to work with the likes of Marvelous Nakambala and Karma Billiat.
“It’s an honor for me to be called to the national team, representing my country is something I truly an honor and am looking forward to playing with Big names of Zimbabwe and African football like Karma Billiat, Marvelous Nakamba of Aston Villa just to mention a few. I will give my very best for my country and I will be living my dream,” he said.
The Warriors of Zimbabwe will lock horns with the Flames of Malawi in an international friendly in Blantyre on the 11th of October 2020.
