Ricky Banda scored the only goal of the game on Saturday as Red Arrows edged Kafue Celtic to continue their race to a second league title.
The win meant the Airmen went eight points clear at the summit with ZESCO United playing their week 31 game on Sunday.
The defending Champions however where held to goalless draw by Power Dynamos on Sunday meaning the gap reduced by just a point to seven and with only three games left to play, Arrows are just a win away from winning their first first title since 2004.

After Saturday’s match, Ricky Banda who is tied with Friday Samu at the summit of the top goalscorers chart said the win against the Crocs was very important.
The former Indeni forward felt the win took the pressure off the Airmen and put it on the chasing park.
Banda revealed that Chisi Mbewe’s men where shifting their focus to their next match on Wednesday against inconsistent Kabwe Warriors.
“The win at Kafue Celtic was critical and vital and it actually put pressure on those who wish to pile pressure on us. We are now already focused on Kabwe Warriors this Wednesday and we will try to get maximum points in each remaining game to stay pressure free but on top,” he said
Should they manage to beat the Magnificent People’s team on Wednesday, Red Arrows will seal the 2021/2022 MTN Super League title.
In the Transition season Red Arrows missed out on the league title on goal difference despite beating Kabwe Warriors 1-0 on the final day.
The Airmen finished 3rd due to poor goal difference behind Zanaco and Zesco United respectively, the lattter who went on to clinch a 9th league title.
