Morena Ramoreboli has been appointed as the new assistant coach to Pitso Mosimane in the Bafana Bafana technical team.
Ramoreboli vacates his position as head coach of the Botswana senior men’s national team, the Zebras, to join Mosimane ahead of South Africa’s 2027 AFCON qualifying campaign.
The appointment reunites Ramoreboli with the South African national-team setup, having previously guided Bafana to the 2021 COSAFA Cup title.
The move was confirmed jointly by the South African Football Association (SAFA) and Botswana Football Association (BFA), who described it as an opportunity for Ramoreboli to continue his coaching journey at the highest level of African football.
