Prove you deserve the call-up, Chiyangi tells players

The Cameroon 2020 CHAN Journey for Zambia and Botswana will start on the 26th of July. Botswana will play at home first before having a reverse fixture with Zambia on 3rd August at Heroes Stadium.

Curent Chipolopolo Care-Taker Coach Aggrey chiyangi has expressed confidence in the Shaping up his assistant Numba Mumamba had with the boys while he was away in Rwanda and assured the fans that all coaches understand the plan that will be used to gun down the Zebras of Botswana.

He went on to urge the players summoned for duty to prove they deserve to wear the national colours.

“Some of the players played Botswana in the just ended Cosafa tournament and know that they can cause an upset if not well handled, thus our players need to prove they deserve the National team call ups rendered to them without fail,” Chiyangi said.

Chiyangi has stated that the team wilm take it one game at a time. He believes the team has no pressure as they have been woking on nothing less than a win.

The winner between Zambia and Botswana will face either Angola or Eswatia. The Chipolopolo boys enjoy good record against thier opponents, thier last encounter for the same qualifiers was on 27th July 2013 and 3rd 2013 with Zambia wining at home and sharing points away for the Africans Nations Championship.

  1. Good luck to coach and team.
COSAFA team, more or less . Less L kambole and Muwowo…
Ten years ago could sleep peacefully and say walkover…
The second leg will be interesting.

  2. Yaa the second leg will be exciting, they have not played home. Remember this Chiyangi team only played COSAFA in RSA, people haven’t watched Mwange, Muzaza and Tapson on home ground.
My advice to coach is not to bench captain Bruce, that guy is a humble genius. Gives chance to other players in starting lineup just because of being nice guy. But game wise he is the best midfielder.
