Power submit provisional squad for CAF Cup

Power Dynamos have submitted the initial list of 24 players that will be part of the team in the CAF Confederations Cup for 2015.

Power have raided town rivals and former champions Nkana and have included goalkeeper Charles Mweemba on the provisional list despite reports that negotiations are not yet complete.

Other players with Nkana connections on the list include midfielder Kelvin Mubanga who has already completed a move from Nkana while national team defender Christopher Munthali who was on loan at Nkana has been recalled. Nkana have also extended Jimmy Ndhlovu’s loan at Power.

Tenant Chilumba has added tough tackling Napsa Stars central defender White Mwanambaba to his side.

Other new entrants at Arthur Davies Stadium on the provisional list include U20 national team midfielder Larry Bwalya and former Green Buffaloes striker Felix Sunzu.

Power have indicated that they will add more players to the list as they complete some more signings as the window for submission of players to CAF is still open.
