Power Dynamos FC have snapped Nkana’s talented midfielder Kelvin Mubanga from town rivals for an undisclosed figure.
21 year old Mubanga was mainly used as a super sub by Nkana in the past season.
Power are beefing up their squad ahead of the CAF Confederations Cup campaign in which they will be Zambia’s representatives confirmed development on Wednesday.
In other transfer news, Zesco United has re-signed striker Jonas Sakuwaha five years after the striker left the club having helped the team reach the group stage of the 2009 CAF champions league.
Sakuwaha who rose to stardom at Zesco before moving to France is an experienced campaigner in the CAF Champions League having played for El Merreikh of Sudan and Mazembe who are both perennial champions league contenders.
He is expected to be key in the club’s run in the champions league.
Zesco are also negotiating the extension of Togolese Emmanuel Mathias loan with Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa.

Atleast he ‘ll get game time at Zesco.
Am hoping this move will mature because Nkana are saying Kelvin is their player whilst power management are claiming he was just on loan from Miseshi blue stars and thus power dealt with Miseshi in this move and not Nkana.
Does Zambia have a different transfer window period from the rest of the world or what? Hello somebody out there!!!
