Power sign Patson Daka

Zambia international teen striker Patson Daka has joined Power Dynamos on loan from Kafue Celtic.

Daka who until now was playing for another Super Division side Nchanga Rangers has been brought in to plug the hole created by the departure of league top scorer Jimmy Ndhlovu, who was on loan, to Nkana after he was recalled by his club.

Power confirmed the development stating that the move was sealed three weeks ago.

“Its official now Patson Daka the under 17,under 20,under 23 and senior national player has joined Power Dynamos Club .The deal was sealed 3 weeks ago.He will heading to Kitwe from Ivory Coast after the under 23 engagement. We appeal to Power fans to give the lad support,” a statement from the CEC sponsored side read.

The striker who has spent more time with the national teams than club, is currently in Ivory Coast with the U23 squad after completing a week of trials at French Ligue 1 side, Lille.

He has not scored a goal yet in the league this season but was instrumental in qualifying the U17 to the CAF Championship and helped them exit the tournament with a decent run.

  6. Lubambo neither belongs to Power nor that Amenianian side but to Kalus Kstars as for the trialist Patson and his friend we said that those lads are just wasting our time because they are not yet ready for even a senior call up and this is what even cost us with useless GB.

  7. Patson has not impressed me as striker and the move to europe should not be forced. He needs to improve in lots of areas like positioning and holding the ball to allow his team join the attack. Lastly faz has over used the boy in the hope of trying to crinch a europe move for him. The boy needs to rest a bit.
