A Lameck Kafwaya lone goal propelled Power Dynamos to a 1 – 0 victory over Lusaka Dynamos in a rescheduled league match played on Wednesday evening.
Kafwaya put the hosts in the lead in the 14th minute and they held on to the lead till the end.
As if to defy the notice from Napsa Stars, Lusaka Dynamos named recalled Collins Sikombe in their starting eleven in the match-day squad.
The win sees Power leap-frog Kabwe Warriors, Green Eagles and Zanaco to move into 3rd position.
Power now have 44 points level with Zanaco but with a better goal difference.
Lusaka Dynamos are stuck in 8th position on 35 points having failed to win a game in the last 4 outings.
The loss for Lusaka Dynamos means that 5th placed Green Eagles will play in the Barclays cup this year.
