Log leaders Power Dynamos opened a four-point lead at the summit following a 1-0 win over Prison Leopards.
Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale scored the only goal of the game. The win takes Abayellow to 32 points.
Across the road, Nkana secured a vital win over ZESCO United. A Harrison Chisala penalty was enough to hand Kalampa maximum points.
At Sunset Stadium, Sensational Zanaco recorded a 3-2 win over tricky FC MUZA in a tightly contested affair.
Abraham Siankombo scored a late winner to seal the win. Kelvin Mwanza pulled MUZA level after Souleymou Moussa had put the Bankers in the lead.
Bobo Angwenga put MUZA in the lead while an own goal by Clifford Mukambi drew the Bankers level.
In-form Moyela Wisdom Libamba scored his sixth goal of the season to give Fole Malembe a hard fought win.
Christian Saile’s brace was enough to give Nchanga Rangers a 2-1 win over Kansanshi Dynamos.
Amity Shamende’s second half strike was the difference at Nkoloma Stadium. The win is the third straight win for Eagles and the defending Champions, Red Arrows have now suffered back to back defeats.
