Zambian Super League leaders Power Dynamos extended their lead after a 2-0 win over rivals Nkana in the Kitwe derby.
Goals from leading scorer Andy Boyeli and substitute Traquelin Mwepu Kanjoli helped Power to complete a league double over Kalampa.
Beston Chambeshi’s Nkana dominated for a large spell.
Congolese striker Boyeli was the first one to strike in the first minute.
Nkana striker David Kabali showed a glimpse of his talent but was withdrawn in the first half in what looked like an injury.
It took Mwepu Kanjoli’s neat pass to Boyeli to open up the game as the Congolese striker scored his 17th goal of the season.
Ugly scenes erupted at Arthur Davies Stadium after Nkana fans as threw missiles on the pitch.
An assistant referee Nancy Kasitu and a police officer were hit, and needed medical treatment.
The match had to be halted for over 15 minutes for security concerns.
The match restarted in the 77 minutes and Kalonji added the second goal.
With three games to go, Power moved to 57 minutes while second placed Napsa Stars are on 49 points.
