Napsa Stars CEO Ponga Liwewe is contemplating hiring Tenant Chilumba, the ZamFoot Crew understands.
Ponga is also trying to lure his old friend Wedson ‘Wada’ Nyirenda in an event that he is available.
The ZamFoot Crew understands that the managerial changes depends on how current coach Perry Mutapa will do in the first half of the season.
“Ponga has a lot of faith in Perry Mutapa. But he has put in place a plan B in case things don’t improve.
“Knowing Ponga, he might want to use his Power Dynamos connections and go for either TC [Tenant Chilumba] or Wada [Nyirenda],” a ZamFoot Crew source said.
Wada Wada is currently coaching in Mozambique and is on a big money contract.
Chilumba spent the final third of last season at Nkwazi as Technical Director.
Napsa Stars are currently 13th on the log.
The pensioners have only picked up 5 points from a possible 15.
