Poland: Lubambo Musonda out injured

Polish-based Chipolopolo winger Lubambo Musonda is out injured after picking up a knock.

Speaking exclusively to ZamFoot Crew, Musonda revealed the unfortunate development.

“Am out injured,” the Śląsk Wrocław forward, and Zambian International said.

Earlier, Musonda’s club coach, Jacek Magiera spoke about the injury during a post-match interview after watching Śląsk record a 1- all draw at Górnik Zabrze on Friday night.

“Cotugno and Musonda are injured, they work with the medical staff. I don’t have a specific date when they will return to running training, not to mention football training yet.”

“We are waiting, physiotherapists are doing everything to make them ready as soon as possible,” the Polish trainer said.

“Today, together with the coaching staff, we focused on healthy players and wait for those healing injuries to be at our disposal. We are waiting impatiently, because Silesia needs every good player,” he concluded.

The injury comes at a time when Musonda tries to hold a regular place in Coach Magiera’s side.

Musonda has not played a single match under the new coach, who has presided over 3 matches so far.

Under the previous coach, Musonda was a regular starter.

Śląsk Wrocław is a Polish side playing in Poland’s top tier, the PKO Ekstraklasa.

They lie 7th on the league table with 35 points.

Wishing Luba a speedy recovery!
