Green Eagles Women Football Club on Sunday thrashed King Sport Academy Girls 4-0 in week 9 of the 2020/21 FAZ Women’s League Lusaka Province at Twashuka Grounds in Kanyama thanks to a hattrick from mesmerizing winger Natasha Nanyangwe and a goal from Rosemary Cheelo.
Another impressive performance from inform and red hot winger Natasha Nanyangwe helped Eagles record a 100% winning record in as many games as they have played so far this season and continue enjoying the driving seat on top of the log standing.
Cheelo opened the scores in the first half before Nanyangwe also registered her name on the score sheet to lead 2-0 going to the break.
After the break, Nanyangwe was back at it with a second half brace to inspire the coach Simon Kayombo drilled lasses who put up another amazing performance to silence King Sports Academy Girls 4-0 at their backyard.
After Sunday’s goals, Nanyangwe is now second top goalscorer and she has taken her total tally of goals to 10 in as many games as she has featured for this season for the Zambia National Service(ZNS) sponsored side who look set to break the record in the Lusaka Women’s League.
