Players Abroad Wrap: key win for Chisamba in Russia , Mweene still benched

France

After scoring in midweek, Stoppila Sunzu played in Herve Renard’s Lille side’s 0-0 draw with Nice.

In Ligue 2, Emmanuel Mayuka did not make squad for Metz as he is still gaining match fitness after recovering from a harmstring injury.

Russia

Chisamba Lungu returned to action after being rested in a midweek 2-1 loss to CSKA Moscow.

The 24 year played a pivotal role in Ural’s shock 1-0 away win over Spartak Moscow. Ural are 6th while Spartak is 5th on the log.

Greece

Rodger Kola was suspended and his club Viera lost in the league.

Romania

Fwayo Tembo came of the bench to help Astra to a 1-0 win to maintain top spot.

Armenia
Lubambo Musonda played the full game as Pyunik revenged the 3-1 loss suffered in mid week in a cup game with a 4-0 of Gangzasar.

China

Jacob Mulenga came off the bench late in the game in his club’s 3-1 win.

Thailand

Noah Chivuta provided an assist in Swat Cat s 1-1 draw with Subaburi FC.

Africa

Patrick Ngoma played for 73 minutes and provided an assist to help his club to a 1-1 draw in Egypt.

    • I said it and a lot of bloggers here rushed on me in support of Sundowns and Pitso Musimane! as I said I know these guys coz I live here with them. Mbesuma in 2004 could have scored more goals but, His colleagues were not supporting him. I watched nearly all the games. The time Pitso was the national team coach he made a comment that local players should be given more game time in preference of foreign players but at Sundowns he has no option coz there are lot of foreign players at Sundowns. I still insist Mweene must move!!!!!

    • Four years ago,a Chipolopolo team made up of 80% of above listed players couldn’t qualify to WC and messed up at Afcon.
      You still see a future in them?
      We always hear rebuilding but I wonder what you guys are building down there?
