Players abroad-Mulenga and Musonda on target

2017 Zambia super league player of the year, Augustine Kabaso Mulenga, Came from the bench to guide his Orlando Pirates side a row one win over Bloemfotein Celtic opening his goal account with a fantastic thunderbolt.

Coach Milutin Sredojevic decided to start with one Zambian in the team in Justin Shonga benching Mulenga. Sixteen minutes into the match Shonga set up Nyatama and Pirates were one nil up.

The first half did not see any further goals but two minutes after the restart Lorenzo Gordinho pulled Celtic back on level terms.

Micho then made a tactical substitution withdrawing defender Happy Jere for Winger Augustine Mulenga with fifteen minutes left on the clock and two minutes later Mulenga opened his Orlando Pirates account with a cracker of a goal.

Pirates held on to win the match with Shonga putting in a full ninety minute shift.

Elsewhere, Former Zanaco midfielder Salulani Phiri put in an impressive full ninety minute shift for Polokwane City who cruised to a one nil win over Supersport United.

In Armenia winger Lubambo Musonda scored a goal as his Gandzaar Kapan side posted a three goals to one win over Ararat.
