Zambia returned to African Cup of Nations after an 8 year absence following an impressive performance against Ivory Coast.
The Copper Bullets thrashed the West Africans 3-0.

Lawrence Mulenga -7/10 – The Power Dynamos goalkeeper showed his good reflexes and pulled a great save from a free kick.
Tandi Mwape – 7/10- Stable and reliable from the TP Mazembe defender.
Stopilla Sunzu – 8/10- Commanded the back line well. The veteran defender showed his experience.
The crowd were simply awesome with the ‘Suunzuu’ chat.
Frankie Musonda – 7.5 – He defended well alongside the big man. He continued giving out instructions to his teammates.
Rodrick Kabwe – 7.3 – A much better performance from the Sekhukhune United man. He unleashed a 25 yard shot which troubled the Ivorian goalkeeper.
Kelvin Kapumbu – 7/10 – Calm and composed performance from the Zesco United man.
Kings Kangwa – 7/10 – Scored Zambia’s third goal and provided an assist for the second goal.
Emmanuel Banda – 8/10 – Had a hand in 2 goals. Unleashed a defence splitting pass to Fashion Sakala which Serge Aurier diverted into his own net.
Then after being set up by Patson Daka, he hit the post and it was from the rebound that Kangwa scored.
Patson Daka – 8/10 – He put in a good shift and won almost all his aerial duels against Eric Baily.
Scored Zambia’s second goal.
Fashion Sakala -7/10- Good game from the Rangers man.
Lubambo Musonda – 8.5 – He was a threat down the right win for Zambia.
One of his best performance for the captain.
