Zambia denied Tanzania a historic victory with a late goal as the two neighbors shared spoils.
Below the ZamFoot Crew takes a look at how the players rated.
Lawrence Mulenga – 7- Had a good game. He was on holiday in the second half as Zambia dominated the Taifa Stars.
Benedict Chepeshi -4- He was poor. Didn’t offer anything going forward and was weak defensively.
Rodrick Kabwe -2- He made three obvious mistakes that almost cost Zambia maximum points.

When Kelvin Kapumbu lost possession, Kabwe should have reacted first to close down Simon Msavu but he didn’t and Msavu scored.
His first yellow card was avoidable. He was beaten for pacy.
The second yellow card was debatable but he should have not challenged Samatta as the ball was going out.
Frankie Musonda -7- A much better and solid performance from Mr Remote Controller.

Stopilla Sunzu -6- Calm and composed but failed to hit and match the performance against DR Congo.
Kelvin Kapumbu -2- Was at faulty for the first goal. His simply doesn’t know how to impact the game.
It’s time for Grant to look for a proper ball playing holding midfielder.

Lameck Banda -8.5.- Bold call from Grant to start with the Lecce winger. He was fearless and terrific down the flanks. Almost got a penalty and an assist.

Emmanuel Banda -6.5- poor first half performance but redeemed himself in the second half.
His passing range was perfect and could have grabbed a goal.

Patson Daka -8- He should be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Kelvin ‘Malaza’ Mutale and Godfrey ‘Ucar’ Chitalu.
His eye for goal is simply breathtaking.
