The Zambia Women’s National Team played to a 3-3 draw with Switzerland on Friday in their second International friendly match in Europe.
The Copper Queens gave away a 3-1 lead at the Tissot Arena in Bienne as they continued to fine tune their squad for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The Copper Queens went down as early as the 7th minute when an unmarked Ana-Maria Crnogorčević scored past Hazel Nali from close range, but Zambia turned the game on its head with goals from Grace Chanda, Barbra Banda and Rachael Kundananji to lead 3-1 at half-time.
The hosts came back fighting in the second half as goals from substitutes Seraina Piubel and Coumba Sow made sure the game finished 3-3.
