Phenomenal Patson Daka hits hat-trick to make it 23 in 24

Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka continued his phenomenal goal scoring record when he netted a hat-trick for his club RB Salzburg to help them to a 4 – 2 win in a top of the table clash against Rapid Wien.

Salzburg put the disappointing 2 – 0 home loss to Villareal behind them and coach Jesse Marsch named a strong lineup clearing putting more focus on the league than the European tie which is just about lost.

Daka was on target in the 30th, 64th and 70th minutes benefiting from Mergim Berisha’s assists for al three goals in the game.

The first was a well worked goal that saw him get a short pass back in the box for him to curl into the far post before he got easy tap-ins for the last two goals.

With the game secured at 3 – 0 , Daka and fellow country man Enock Mwepu were substituted as the team looks ahead to the Europa league return match in Spain.

The three goals see him shoot to the top of the top scorers table with 16 goals in 14 league games. His total tally for the season now stands at 23 goals in 24 games.
