People should expect a different game against Spain says Copper Queens coach

Copper Queens coach Bruce Mwape has said it will be a ‘different game altogether’ when his side face Spain in a Group C FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Speaking during a press briefing ahead of 09h30 CAT kickoff at Auckland’s Eden Park on Wednesday, Mwape also urged his side to take their chances against the Europeans giants.

“In our next game, we have done almost all that we can,” Mwape said.

“We have prepared the team adequately and at least in tomorrow’s game (against Spain), people should expect a different game altogether unlike the one they watched against Japan.”

Zambia will be hoping to bounce back from the 5-0 defeat on Wednesday.

Spain are favourites for the match and go into the tie following a 3-0 victory over Costa Rica.

  1. Japan started with 5 mid fielders which closed and shut off supply to our strikers. They also startes by attacking right through the centre and when that didnt work for them they switched to the flanks and started sending dangerous through balls behind our defence. This is how they undid us.
So close the wings as well and we will enjoy the game.

  2. Please, use correct information, especially put about five players in front line. We are going to have more goals. Don’t go into the pitch with a defensive formation. Zambia 3 and Spain 2. Go Zambia go.
