Zambia National team striker Patson Daka says he wants to pick up where he left off when the new Austrian season kicks off next month.
The 21-year-old is keen on helping his team to achieve its goals. Daka says he wants to continue improving as he still has a lot of things to learn.
“My target is to do as much as I can to help the team, work as hard as I can to help the team achieve its goals. I will try my best also to do my job because as a striker it’s about helping the team by scoring and in other areas so I just have to continue improving because I have a lot of things to learn,” Daka told FAZ media.
“I feel like this time, I just have to pick it up from where I left,” he added.
Daka and compatriot Enock Mwepu have since left for Austria after their two weeks break in the country.
Daka had an impressive 2019/2020 season scoring 27 goals and assisted 12 times. The 2017 CAF young player of the year also became the first Zambian to score 20 league goals or more for a European club surpassing Mwape Miti’s 19 goals scored in the 2003/04 season for Danish side Odense Boldklub.
