Patson Daka named in Sky Bet Championship team of the week

Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka has been named in the Sky Bet Championship team of the week following his impressive performance on Saturday.

Daka scored and assisted on his first start of the season as Leicester City roared to their biggest win of the season – a 4-0 triumph over Plymouth Argyle at King Power Stadium – to remain top of the Sky Bet Championship table.

Daka’s club teammate Abdul Fatawu also features in the XI this week having earned a rating of 9.39. The 19-year-old provided two assists in Leicester’s 4-0 victory over the Pilgrims, those coming from five key passes.

The teenager also completed two dribbles and made two tackles in a solid display.

Daka’s other teammate Stephy Mavididi also played a key role on the left flank for Saturday’s big win.

The Foxes wideman netted twice in the victory, hitting the back of the net with both shots, while one key pass and one successful dribble saw him return a rating of 8.82.

James Justin completes the Leicester City players who have made the team of the week for round .

Coventry City’s Callum O’Hare, his teammate Milan van Ewijk, and Conor Chaplin of Ipswich Town have also made the cut.

Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Begovic makes the team also alongside Lindsay, Goutas and Vaulks.

  2. Congratulations Patson .Each time you were not featured I suffered with dissappoint.I did not understand why you couldn’t be played for just ten minutes in every game Leicester played. In the 80+ minutes you’ve been allowed to play since the season began your record of one goal and one assist speaks volumes.Keep working hard.
