Patson Daka linked with shock Leicester City transfer

The Leicester striker has struggled to nail down a regular place under Brendan Rodgers

Leicester City striker Patson Daka could be on his way to Galatasaray after the Turkish club had a meeting over his services, according to Fotomac.

It has been suggested that Galatasaray are closely interested in Daka’s situation at Leicester, and they are working hard to get a deal done.

The Turkish transfer window closes tomorrow.

Galatasaray already have Mauro Icardi and Dries Mertens on their books, but a move for Daka would represent a different type of player. Daka had a strong reputation when he came into English football, but he has never really hit the ground running at the King Power Stadium.

The 24-year-old has made 17 Premier League appearances this season but only nine of those have been from the start. He has scored three goals and made three assists in that period.

Leicester paid £23 million to land Daka from Red Bull Salzburg.

  1. The leap from Salzburg to the EPL was a bridge too far for Daka! I said it right then and I am affirming it now. He should have gone the route of Belgium, Spain and Germany! But the step his handlers took was aimed at making money. He has a poor set of skills on the ball.

    • You are wrong on that one. Mbesuma took a long time in Zambia while his papers were being finalised. He was busy drinking chibuku. He went to Portsmouth out of form very ukwina it never worked out. As for Patson he has a problem. Fashion Sakala is the only striker I see can make it in the English P. L. the rest are nothing that is the truth

  2. No need to bash the youngman,he has found himself in a team thatis not just getting results, hence the coach is trying new combinations, alot of staff at the club are underpressure ,if an opportunity comes he must take a chance, galatasary is a champions league club, the boy is winner sometimes things dont just wark out the way we plan.he must keep his head up and embrace the move if it occurs. As a country we need a product Daka,Especially that we no longer have Mwepu.God bless the son fo the soil,we appreciate his efforts

  3. i think Leicester is just not for DAKA, its a good club though. My advice to DAKA is move, EPL ,s play of Football is not your type it can be the best league but not all best players come from EPL if any
