Zambia U-17 national team enterprising midfielder Joseph ‘Sabobo’ Banda says his teams’ target is to win the U-17 AFCON tournament.
Speaking to the Zamfoot crew, from the Edwin Emboela stadium in Lusaka following the completion of a one-month training camp on Wednesday Sabobo said that his objective is to become the top scorer at the tournament.
“The training was just okay though some of our friends left, this camp has made me improve on the defensive aspect of my game,” he said.
” Our target is to win the trophy and my objective is to become the top scorer since we will play a lot of games I think I can score eight goals,” he added.
The junior copper bullets will have pre-tournament games against the likes of Nigeria and the ivory coast before the commencement of the tournament.
Sabobo who has high hopes of donning a Barcelona jersey in his lifetime is expected to lead the junior chipolopolo in firing Young Copper Bullets to glory. The boys left the country via Kenneth Kaunda international airport on Thursday afternoon.
