Zambia’s WAFCON opponents Morocco came from behind to beat Malawi 4-2 in a friendly on Thursday.
French based duo Tabitha Chawinga and Rose Kabzere gave the Scorchers a 2-0 lead but failed to hold on to it.
Morocco scored two quick goals before half time to level the scores thanks to own goal from Bernadettar Mkandawire and Sakina Ouzraoui.
After the break the Atlas Lionesses dominated and controlled the match, and got their reward in the 56th minute thanks to an Ibtissam Jraidi strike.
An injury time goal from Kenza Chapelle wrapped it the victory for the WAFCON hosts.
Morocco will face Zambia in the opening match of the tournament on July 5.
DR Congo and Senegal are the other countries in Group A.
