It was Day 2 in Abidjan as the Elephants intensified with their training session ahead of Saturday’s mouthwatering clash against Zambia in Ndola.
Following Monday’s training session, the players a gym session on Tuesday morning.
In the afternoon coach Jean Louis Garret took his players on the turf and had a tactical session.
Some of the players in training were veteran Max-Alain Gradel, Franck Kessie, Eric Baily, Serge Aurier, Ibrahim Sangare, Jonathan Bamba, Karim Konate, Sylla Abakar and Jean-Phillip Krasso.
Garret has called Ismael Chester Diallo from French side AC Ajaccio to replace West Ham’s Maxwell Cornet, who felt a discomfort in his calf.
Evan N’dicka is the only the absentee from the 22 players called.
N’dicka is doing a medical for a possible transfer to another European side.
The team will have an open media session for 15 minutes on Wednesday.
The 2015 AFCON winners will leave for Lusaka on Thursday.
