Zambia’s opponents in the CHAN qualifiers South Africa have suffered a major blow to their preparation ahead of next week’s CHAN qualifier.
Ten players have been withdrawn from the 25-man Bafana Bafana announced by head coach Stuart Baxter to take on Zambia in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers by their clubs.
The players are from Amazulu, Highlands Park, Supersport United and Orlando Pirates who all have recalled their players. The players are Boalefa Pule, Ayabulela Konqobe, Michael Morton, Mothobi Mvala, Siyabonga Nhlapo, Denwin Farmer, Cole Alexander, Teboho Mokoena and Tercious Malepe, while Riyaad Norodien is out injured.
Zambia will play South Africa on the 12th of this month in their first leg of the qualifier before hosting them at home a week later.
