Zambia national team attacking midfielder Austin Muwowo has completed his move to South Africa PSL side Orlando Pirates from Super League giants Nkana. Pirates confirmed the development in a post on their official website.
The club has however not revealed the length of the deal ‘the Genius’ has signed. Muwowo joins country mates Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga at the Soweto giants.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club is delighted to announce that it has reached an agreement with Nkana FC for the services of Austin Kaunda Muwowo.”

The attacking midfielder spent last season on loan at Forest Rangers and finished the 2019 transitional Superleague as joint top goalscorer with Laudit Mavugo and Zikiru Adams. The former Konkola Mine Police ace also made 8 assists for Fole Malembe.
The departure of Muwowo now means Coach Aggrey Chiyangi will be without three players for his CHAN preparations as Lazarus Kambole (Kaizer Chiefs) and Tandi Mwape (TP Mazembe) already finalized their deals to South Africa and DR Congo respectively.

Good luck to all those Chipolopolo Players who have signed contracts outside Zambia, we wish them the best and discipline is the most important weapon and tool they should always have.
