Sensational Zanaco had a final training session this morning at Sunset stadium prior to derpature for Gambia later in the day. Zamfoot caught with the team and coach Numba Mumamba who addressed a number of issues including the two changes made to the squad.
Coach Numba Mumamba said the team had prepared well for the match and were only working on their tactical approach going into the return leg.
The team is shaping up well. We did our preparations last week today we are just working on our tactical aspect of the game, How we are going to go and play in Gambia.
Jimmy nakena has missed thee trip due to documentation issues while Isaac Chansa has replaced Chitiya Mususu. Numba does not want to conceede any goals and that’s why he has included experienced Chansa in the team.
We looking at our aspect part of the game that’s why we have named more midfielders because we want to close them and not conceede any goals as we play there.
Meanwhile captain of the side, Ziyo Tembo, Believes Zanaco have what it takes to go all the way.
The morale and the motivation in camp is very high. We are not going to limit ourselves, we will aim high and probably go all the way.
First leg brace hero Martin Phiri is aiming at scoring more goals than he did in the first leg.
I want to do more than what i did last time we played them. I want to score atleast three goals.
