Zesco United coach Numba Mumamba still believes his club can ‘win the title’.
Defending Champions Zesco United are in a three horse league title race.
The Ndola side are seven points behind leaders Red Arrows, who are on 56 points.
Aggrey Chiyangi’s Green Eagles are third, and a point behind Zesco United.
Following Wednesday’s 1-1 draw against Prison Leopards, many believe the title is Arrows’ to loose now with six games to go.
But Numba, a two time league winner as a head coach, one as assistant and four as a player thinks otherwise.
“I think we still have a lot of games to go. Six games is good enough for us to make amends and win the title. All we need to do now is to win our games,” he after after Wednesday draw.
While Eagles and Arrows will clash in the Absa Cup semi final this Sunday, the nine times Zambian Champions won’t be in action.
On Wednesday, Zesco will face Forest Rangers in the Ndola derby while Eagles will welcome Nkana in Choma.
Chisi Mbewe’s Arrows will take a short trip to Edwin Imboela Stadium and face Nkwazi.
