Nkwazi coach not gutted by Zesco loss

Nkwazi head coach Albert Mpande said, far from it that the 2-0 loss of his side to Zesco United, in week 14 of the 2017 MTN Zambia Super league, has left him gutted.

The guffer of the Police sponsored side was speaking to the media during the post match presser at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, on Saturday afternoon.

“I’m not disappointed by the defeat to the boys. They really played well and they put up a good fight”.

“It wasn’t an easy one, to me they mean very well. In 7 games I think we have played 4 high profile games and coming to this game I am not disappointed,” said Mpande.

The next assignment for Nkwazi, are fellow men in uniform–the soldiers, Green Buffaloes. Coach Mpande promised the fans of improved results.

“As you know Nkwazi normally is not an easy team. Each game we normally improve, especially from the loss, we normally up our game.”

We will just remain focused as we play Green Buffaloes. And we will get maximum where by we are playing at home,” Mpande said.

Today’s loss for Nkwazi was their first in 6 games and relegates them to 7th place from position number four, with 20 points.
