Zambian glamour side Nkana suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in a Group D CAF Confederations Cup match day 2 tie played at Ndola’s Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Wednesday night.
The North African side scored in the second half after a goalless first 45 minutes.
Kalampa coach Kelvin Kaindu went for the traditional 4-4-2 formation with Simon Mulenga and Emmanuel Mwinde leading the attack while the veteran Vincent Chaila marshaled the engine.
Star winger Harison Chisala started but failed to prevent Nkana from suffering their fifth defeat in the last six matches.
Raja Casablanca got their goal in the 47th minute thanks to Rahimi spot kick before Sadoui sealed the victory late in the game.
Earlier in the day, group leaders Egyptian side Pyramids continued their fine form with a 2-nil away win over Tanzanian side Namungo.
Nkana are bottom of the group.
