Kitwe based giants Nkana Football Club will this weekend travel to Ivory Coast for the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup pre-groups playoffs where they will face San Pedro Football Club.
With the first leg result favoring ‘Aba Red’ with the goals coming from ‘The Landlord’ Ronald Kampamba, veteran defender Joseph Musonda and the towering striker Festus Mbewe. This time around the defense was rock solid and didn’t allow any goal heading into the second leg.
Nkana’s progression to the group stages looks all but secured if the players go in the second leg with the right mentality. They must concentrate for the entire 90 minutes and avoid making silly mistakes at the back. The atmosphere will be intimidating as well, a similar case with the Simba SC outing.
