Record 13 time Super League Champions, Nkana have put head coach Ian Bakala and his assistants Dennis Makinka and Josphat Nkhoma on administrative leave effective immediately.
The decision comes after a string of poor results in the current MTN Super League season.
The club confirmed the development in a statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew.
“Nkana Football Club wishes to announce that Head Coach Ian Bakala, along with assistant coaches Dennis Makinka and Josphat Nkhoma, have been placed on administrative leave effective immediately.
This decision comes in light of the team’s recent performance and results in the ongoing 2024/25 season.

Nkana have only managed one win so far this season and sit third from bottom with six points after seven games.
