Nkana send Bakala and his assistants on administrative leaveĀ 

Record 13 time Super League Champions, Nkana have put head coach Ian Bakala and his assistants Dennis Makinka and Josphat Nkhoma on administrative leave effective immediately. 

The decision comes after a string of poor results in the current MTN Super League season.

The club confirmed the development in a statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew. 

ā€œNkana Football Club wishes to announce that Head Coach Ian  Bakala, along with assistant coaches Dennis Makinka and Josphat Nkhoma, have been  placed on administrative leave effective immediately. 

This decision comes in light of the  team’s recent performance and results in the ongoing 2024/25 season.

Further updates regarding the coaching staff and any subsequent developments will be shared as they unfold.ā€

Nkana have only managed one win so far this season and sit third from bottom with six points after seven games.
