Nkana ring changes on technical bench….as Beston is sent on administrative leave 

Nkana Football Club has sent head coach Beston Chambeshi on administrative leave with immediate effect.

The club confirmed the development in a statement by Media and Public Relations officer Lillian Musenge which was made available to the ZamFoot Crew. 

First assistant Coach George Chilufya will be head coach in the interim with John Lungu as his second assistant and Young Nkana Coach Fidelis Chungu joining him. 

Gift Kampamba will return to Young Nkana.

“Nkana Football Club has with immediate effect made changes to the main team technical bench. 

Head Coach Beston Chambeshi has with immediate effect been sent on administrative leave and in the interim, First Assistant Coach George Chilufya takes over as head coach. 

Second Assistant Coach, John Lungu will assist Chilufya as his first assistant while Young Nkana head coach Fidelis Chungu moves to the main team as second assistant. 

Second Assistant Coach Gift Kampamba moves back to Young Nkana as head coach.”

The 13 time Zambia Super League Champions have started the new season on a very slow note losing their opening two games. 

They suffered a 1-0  loss in week one and again by the same scoreline in week two against newly promoted Mutondo Stars. 

Kalampa are currently bottom of the MTN Super League table with only two rounds of matches having been played so far.

  1. For how long will this Team give their Coach pressure with average Players even the best Coaches can fail with that material, it is a tough call for the incoming Coach,(Mapepo fye)
