With a host of players earmarked for signing at Nkana FC as was reported by ZamFoot, Nkana FC are now reported to have released up to 14 players.
The list of 14 includes former Power Dynamos sensational midfielder Joseph Sitali who has failed to live up to expectation at the club. Sitali has hardly completed a full game since he moved from Congo side Don Bosco.
Nkana have also axed Ugandan international Tony Odur whose stay at Nkana has been plagued with injury as well as Congolese Djunese Kanda who had an outstanding first year in the Zambian Super League when he played for Indeni last year.
With Nkana misfiring in front of goal, five of the players released are strikers making a clear indication that Aggrey Chiyangi wants to reorganise the strike force.
Odur has only managed one goal since he moved to Nkana which was a goal against Zanaco last season. Kanda has also only managed on goal which was a penalty in the famous home win against Power Dynamos. Nyaende has also managed only one goal which was in the loss against Nkwazi.

We converted Jimmy Ndhlovu from a bench warmer to a scoring machine, Kelvin Mubanga, Nyambe Mulenga to mention a few. Zesco had to recall Nyambe after offloading him, Nkana has recalled Jimmy after seing that the guy has become a free scoring maching. Fintu ni Power! No international players but playing classy football.

It is a complete overhaul of the team,if this move is going to help Kalampa well and good.I only hope the team gels sooner than later.Word of caution to Chiyangi and Nkana:you have to win the rest of the games this coming quarter.We do not want excuses,Nkana is a big team which deserves to be on top.
