Record 13 time MTN Super League Champions , Nkana have appointed former striker and two time golden boot winner Ronald ‘Sate-Sate’ Kampamba as their strikers’ coach.
Kampamba,32, joins the Elijah Tana led technical bench. The club confirmed the development in a statement availed to the ZamFoot Crew.
“Nkana Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of former striker Ronald “Sate Sate” Kampamba as the club’s strikers coach, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the Kalampa legend’s football journey.
A familiar face to the Nkana faithful, Kampamba transitions from the pitch to the technical bench after a distinguished playing career that saw him become one of the club’s most admired forwards.”
Kalampa says Kampamba’s appointment reflects Nkana FC’s continued commitment to nurturing home-grown talent and preserving the club’s rich football heritage by integrating former players into the technical set-up.
“Known for his clinical finishing, tireless work ethic and leadership on the field, Kampamba will now be tasked with helping develop the club’s attacking players, working closely with Coach Elijah Tana and the rest of the technical team to sharpen the team’s goalscoring edge.
His wealth of experience, gained over many years at the highest level of Zambian football, is expected to play a key role in mentoring both established forwards and emerging young talent as Nkana FC prepares for the 2026 transitional season.”
Nkana are in Francistown, Botswana, ahead of a busy programme of friendly matches and the inaugural Tati River Cup.
