Nkana FC made it four wins out for when they narrowly overcame visiting Kabwe Warriors 1 – 0 further extend their lead to 5 points at the summit of the log to 6 points while Steward Chikandiwa netted the first hat-trick of the season in another game.
A lone goal by Jacob Ngulube in the 75th minute was enough to settle the tie as the former Mufulira Wanderers midfielder shot to the top of the top scorers chart.
The loss by Warriors drop into the relegation zone as they have only picked two points in three games.
Nkana next play Lusaka Tigers in Lusaka while Kabwe Warriors will host Mufuilira Wanderers.
In Lusaka, Lumwana Radiants got a bashing at the hands of Police sponsored Nkwazi who picked their first win of the season via an impressive 4 – 0 scoreline.
Midfielder Steward Chikandiwa scored a hat-trick in the game while the other goal was scored by Kalaba Chikwanda.
The win takes Nkwazi up to 9th on the table on 4 points while Lumwana are 11th behind Nkwazi on goal difference.
This was Lumwana’s first ever loss in the elite league and is the biggest margin of the season so far.
Lumwana Radiants will now proceed to Choma to play Choma Eagles before they return to Solwezi.
Nkwazi on the other hand will play in a Lusaka derby against Napsa Stars.

Nkana are on fire this season
lumwana Radiant welcomed to the premier league.
Nkana ‘Kalampa’ fc.
Eprogramme Kalampa, Lumwana kip it up
Nkana really mean business this time around….who is next???!!!
Slender win against the ‘Magnificent’ Kabwe Warriors, we shall revenge ‘pa lalwe’ ( Godfrey Chitalu Stadium) when you run out of steam…
Luchanga boy has become dormant ever since he left power fc. On the otherhand Jacob Ngulubes’ attacking midfielder role is bearing fruit fo Nkana whilst mufulira are now struggling in the mid .
It was a mistake 2 let jacob ngulube leave us,now we r really missing him. #Anyway we r Mighty we r legendary,we r fighters novundu.
My prediction is Nkana winning 10 out of 10 of the first 10 games. Nkana are serious with the business this season. Then they will be unstoppable!
KALAMPA CONTINUE TO CLAMP
I have not yet watched Warriors this season, but I hope they will ‘claw’ out of the early relegation ‘yellow’ zone. They have only lost once after all, unlike Nchanga, Nkhwazi, Dynamos and Power above them! Early days yet…
ba nkana wait for team ya ziko to play their matches, remember you dont win zega u hav started ukusabaila pali leaguea
