Nkana finished second at the inaugural Tati River Cup in Botswana after a hard-fought 2-1 defeat to Tonota FC in the final at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium.
Kalampa took the lead in the 31st minute through Gift Msiska, giving Nkana the advantage as the team looked to cap the Botswana tour with silverware.
Tonota responded just before the break through Arnold Mampori, restoring parity at half-time. The Botswana Premier League side completed the comeback in the 61st minute through Emmanuel Timu to claim the Tati River Cup title.
Despite the final result, finishing second represents a positive outing for Kalampa, with the squad gaining valuable competitive minutes and experience against strong Botswana opposition.
Nkana can take plenty of positives from the tournament and the wider Botswana camp as the team builds towards the 2026 Transitional League.
