New acquisition, Emmanuel Mwiinde has continued his scoring run as he netted the opening goal in Nkana’s 2-0 win over High Flying Nkwazi in a rescheduled game at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
Zambia Police sponsored outfit, Nkwazi welcomed defending Champions, Nkana on Thursday afternoon at Edwin Imboela Stadium in a rescheduled week 11.
Fresh from a big win over Young Green Eagles over the weekend, Nkana were looking to continue on a winning way and took the lead in the 17th minute thanks to new striker Emmanuel Mwiinde. The goal was Mwiinde’s second in as many games since his switch to Nkana.
Winger Ackim Mumba added a second in additional time to seal a 2-0 win. The win takes Nkana to eighth place and within a win of top six while Nkwazi drops to eleventh place.
