Former Nkana and Power Dynamos striker Alex ‘Bazo’ Ng’onga has been named in the Tout Puissant Mazembe squad for the CAF Confederation Cup Group match against Real Bamako.
Ng’onga is joined by defender Tandi Mwape and 2012 AFCON winner Rainford Kalaba.
Coach Pamphile Mihayo has also included Zimbabwean defender Gilroy Chimwemwe who joined TP Mazembe together with Ng’onga in his match day squad.
The match will be Mazembe’s first game of the 2022/23 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Ng’onga has been in fine form scoring 7 goals in his first five games for the Ravens and coach Mihayo will hope he replicates his form in the Confederation Cup.
The Ravens hosts Malian side AS Real Bamako at the Stade Frederic Kibassa Maliba in Lubumbashi on Sunday.
Kick off is set at 15:00 Central African time.
