ND1: MUZA look to maintain unbeaten home run as they host ‘toothless’ Assembly

The FAZ/EDEN University National League will enter week 8 this coming weekend after an exciting round of results in midweek which include FC MUZA recording their second loss this season, a 1-0 loss to Kafue Celtic.

The loss was however their first in the last six games. For National Assembly, they had to settle for a goalless draw at home against Zesco Malaiti Rangers.

MUZA will continue to use Independence Stadium in Choma away from home as they keep their fingers crossed awaiting Zambia Sugar PlC to officially allow usage of their Nakambala Stadium in Mazabuka which MUZA’s primary home ground.

The Mazabuka based sidewalk into this game with a chance to replicate their home form which has seen them avoid defeat at home so face this season. The last game at home was a share of points against Police college played in the rains.

National Assembly is goal-shy and have only managed to score a single goal in their last 7 games but have also only allowed 3 goals. Assembly is a semi-balanced team with good defense but poor striking force, unlike MUZA where they have scored 8 goals and allowed 5 goals so far which means a better striking force compared to that of Assembly.

Rickson Ngambi will be a boast for elegant MMUZA after his outstanding performance with the Zambia U-17 national team at the recently concluded COSAFA U-17 Championship in South Africa where the Young Copper Bullets managed to come out second.
