ND1: Mufulira Wanderers too ‘mighty’ for not so ‘Brave’ Nchanga Rangers…Kafue Celtic handed first loss as City of Lusaka edge Chambishi to move top

Mighty Mufulira Wanderers were too good for Nchanga Rangers on Saturday afternoon as they cruised to a 2-0 win over the Chingola based at Shinde Stadium.

Goals from Pheuzzy Chibandika and Congolese striker Lima Ndeke were enough to hand the most successful team in the country victory.

The win takes Mufulira Wanderers to 4th place with eight points while Rangers drop to 9th place.

Elsewhere, Konkola Blades beat Zesco Shockers 3-1 to move out of the relegation zone.

City of Lusaka secured a 1-0 win over Chambishi to move top of the log while Kansanshi Dynamos handed in-form Kafue Celtic their first loss of the season.

KYSA cruised to a 2-0 win over Police College. National Assembly and Kashikishi Warriors played out to a goalless draw while Malaiti Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by Livingstone Pirates.

The action continues this afternoon as MUZA welcomes Gomes while Mpulungu Harbour makes the trip to North Western to face Trident.

  1. I watched zesco vs kabwe warriors on Saturday. But much dissappointed the way referee officiated that game. A clear handball in 18 box by zesco unlted player referee fails to award the visiting team a penalty.was that one a deliberate move or mistake
