ND1: Kansanshi Dynamos win away in Chililabombwe to open a two-point lead

The 2020/21 FAZ/Eden University National League came alive as confident Konkola Blades hosted Kansanshi Dynamos in a Week 10 encounter at the Konkola Stadium in Chililabombwe.

As expected the game was to be a tight affair with both teams going into the break scoreless but flashes of what was to come in the second half were displayed and even the local fans had to sit down and wait patiently for the second half.

The second half started on high and as expected the much sort for the goal came just 10 minutes after the resumption of the second half but to the disappointment of the local faithful, it was the might Kansanshi Dynamos who took the lead through Daniel Chama, the boy has proved to be an asset for the Solwezi based side. In the end, it was his goal that was enough to separate the two sides and end a four-match unbeaten run.

The win takes Kansanshi Dynamos to 20 points and at the summit as they open a two-point lead.

In the other game played today newcomers Kalumbila Trident beat seasonal campaigners National Assembly 1-0 through a 67th minute Dia Chongo lone goal at the Sentinel Stadium in Kalumbila.

The win takes Trident to 12th place with ten points from ten games.
