FAZ National Division One side Nchanga Rangers have confirmed the departure of nine players.
The Chingola based outfit has released nine players as they look to reorganise their set up ahead of the 2023/2024 National Division One side.
Six players have been released while contracts of two players have come to an end according to a statement by club media officer, Andrew Ukwimi.
“Nchanga Rangers Football Club informs its supporters and other partners that the Club has released nine (9) players in a reorganisation aimed at strengthening the team ahead of the 2023/2024 Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) National Division One season.
The Club is working tirelessly to recruit replacements and our supporters will be informed in due course on the new players that have joined or are about to join the Club in order to make sure that the Club bounces back into the FAZ Super Division during the next football campaign. Some players whose contracts have expired will also leave the Club.”

Kasaka, striker Jacob Banda, attacking midfielder Logic Chin`gandu and defensive midfielder Emmanuel Mathotho have all been released while striker Joseph Kanema and defender Boston Muchindu loan deals have come to an end.
Meanwhile, Attacking Midfielder Ciel Ibengo Ikoko’s seven-month loan contract has expired and he has returned to his Club FC Lupopo of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The club has also confirmed that head coach Robert Tembo will continue in his role while some changes will also be made to the technical bench.
The club has edged the fans to stay calm as they reorganise and aim to make an immediate return to the top flight.
“We urge our supporters to remain calm as the Club works hard to implement plans that will enable an immediate return to the Super Division.”
