Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club striker Natasha ‘Little Tasha’ Nanyangwe is enjoying probably the best form of her career as she has netted in nine of the last ten games.
Nanyangwe’s fine form continued yesterday as she netted a goal in the Zambia army side’s 8-0 win over Play It Forward.
Nanyangwe has only blanked once in the last ten matches, against ZANACO a match in which she was withdrawn as a precaution after a nasty tackle.
In the win over Play It Forward, It was Maweta Chilenga however who was the star performer netting a brace and contributing a hat-trick of assists.
Maylan Mulenga also contributed a brace a brace while the enterprising Evarine Susan Katongo, Esther Banda, Esther Siamfuko and Esnart Mukubwe scored a goal each.
Nanyangwe is now on 14 goals for the season only Ochumba Oseke Lubanji (16), Penelope Mulubwa (17) and Ivy Nambeye (18) have scored more so far this season.
She could easily be the most in-form player in the Eden University Women’s Super League at the moment.
