NAPSA Stars sign Illunga, confirm return of four players and technical bench additions 

Zambia Super League side NAPSA Stars have confirmed the acquisition of Congolese Midfielder Tresor Illunga. 

Illunga has joined the club as a free agent after leaving Mufulira Wanderers. He almost joined Green Eagles before eventually signing for the Pensioners. 

“We’re thrilled to announce the signing of skilled Congolese Midfielder Tresor Illunga, who joins NAPSA Stars FC as a free agent on a two-year deal! 

Tresor brings a wealth of talent and experience to our squad, and we can’t wait to see him shine on the pitch. Welcome to the team, Tresor, we’re looking forward to seeing your skills in action.”

NAPSA Stars have also confirmed the return of four players after their loan stints came to an end. 

Striker Jimmy Mukeya leads the quartet that has returned to club after a spell away in Solwezi with Kansanshi Dynamos. 

Others are Felix Banda who was at Forest Rangers, Doisy Soko and Evans Banda who were at City if Lusaka and National Assembly respectively. 

“Welcome back to NAPSA Stars FC! We’re excited to have the following players return to the club after their loan stints: Felix Banda (Forest Rangers), Doisy Soko (City of Lusaka), Evans Banda (National Assembly), and Jimmy Mukeya (Kansanshi Dynamos).”

Meanwhile the club has announced new additions to the technical bench. 

Coach Lawrence Munsha Lubinda has joined the club as the  First Assistant Coach. He previously served in the same capacity at Nkwazi FC.

Samuel Banda has returned to NAPSA Stars as the new Goalkeeper Coach, a role he previously held from 2014 to 2017.
