Napsa Stars extended their 5 match  unbeaten run to 6 games when they held Kabwe Warriors 1-1 away from home.
It was a frustrating afternoon for Warriors who went ahead in the 14th minute through Mwansa Nsomfwa but they failed to extend their lead despite dominating the 1st half.
Napsa dealt the Kabwe side’s chase for maximum points a blow with an 88th minute equaliser scored by Kenyan international Justus Anene.
This was the 4th consecutive draw for the Mohamad Fathy coached side.
Warriors moved to 36 points and remained  in 6th position three behind 5th placed Green Buffaloes.
Napsa moved to 29 points to stand in a delicate 9th position. Â They have managed three wins in the last 6 games.
They will anxiously wait for the Saturday results as they could fall four places on the log depending on how the results of the other games goal.
Nchanga Rangers, Nkwazi, Forest Rangers, Mufulira Wanderers all have a chance to overtake Napsa if they win their matches.
